Buying truck parts: what should you pay attention to?

A part must technically fit exactly to the vehicle, version and construction period. Part number, chassis number, condition, origin and return conditions prevent costly downtime and incorrect orders.

Search suggestions

How do I know if a part fits?

Preferably compare the OEM or manufacturer number and check this with chassis number, model, year of construction and technical version. Simply having the same brand and model name is often insufficient.

Do I choose new, used or refurbished?

New offers predictability, used can be economical and reconditioned combines reuse with replaced wearing parts. Compare work, test data, warranty and total costs including installation.

What does exchange part or deposit mean?

With an exchange part, you return the old part so that it can be overhauled. Check in advance which condition is accepted, how much deposit applies and who pays transport costs.

What do I check for a used engine or gearbox?

Ask about origin, mileage or hours, oil, damage, compression or pressure tests and any error codes. Also check which attachments and electronic modules are included.

Which agreements are important when shipping?

Determine packaging, insurance, delivery time, return period and responsibility for transport damage. Heavy or vulnerable parts often require pallet or special transport.
