Inspect the drum shell and mixing spirals for wear, thin spots, cracks and previous weld repairs. Listen to the bearings while the drum rotates and check that it runs smoothly.

Test pump, motor, reduction gearbox, controls and hoses for leakage, noise and pressure loss. Maintenance history and used oil provide additional insight into the technical condition.

Pay attention to the water tank, dosing system, gutters, extension gutters, cleaning facilities and remote control. Check whether capacity and implementation suit local construction sites and working methods.
