The L series was the last generation of Scania trucks with the distinctive nose, before the switch to front-wheel drive cabs. Despite this transition, the L models remained in production for many years. The robust L-series trucks were popular in road construction, sand and gravel transport, and heavy local transport, and were known for their strong chassis, simple technology, and high pulling power.
